There was always this claim that this was how the EARLY church "did things", so I thought that in order to truly find God, we needed to practice the earliest form of Christianity.

But this angered my Catholic mother (lol!) so I swore I would read more of my bible and the catechism to at least give the RCC a chance (because the RCC was *also* a strong contender for "original Christianity", as it was the only church for 1500 years or so)

So with much prayer I just asked God to guide my path. If the RCC was as "evil" as I had been told in the MJ faith, then I would quit my study & break the news to my family immediately. However, my study (which is still ongoing) of the Church only revealed truth, misconceptions I held, and a serenity I had never felt before.

My faith & relationship with God is stronger now in this past year-year & 1/2 than it had been in the 3+ years in the Protestant faiths...I think my return was definitely God's doing though, His hand has been leading me perfectly!Charisms on Campushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14312118662106641305noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3427243111279814147.post-84613637835311421062010-06-28T22:09:25.022-07:002010-06-28T22:09:25.022-07:00Hi, I just happened to stumble across your blog an...Hi, I just happened to stumble across your blog and was interested in your profile.
